Brooke is a designer on Blue Beyond’s creative team and has 15 years of experience in communications. She has a talent for designing beautiful visuals that hone in on just the right message to tell inspiring and compelling stories.
Working and co-owning a digital marketing agency with clients across political, technology, and small business worlds helped prepare Brooke for her role at Blue Beyond. Though the types of clients Brooke worked with varied, each organization’s success depended on reaching their target audience with an easy-to-comprehend-message that not only resonated, but also inspired action.
Brooke received a BA in Journalism Graphics and is a member of Creative Mornings in Indianapolis. She is most complimented on her ability to listen and intake the emotions of a client and the information they need to communicate.
Problem solving, creativity, and good listening.
I love solving problems visually. I love taking information and creating a way for others to digest it, and enjoy it when they do. I love taking the expertise of the Blue Beyond team and being that final “polish” that makes the visual genius match the content genius.
Blue Beyond is a team that inspires me, and makes me a better person in my personal life. Group genius is real, and I’m so proud to be a part of it with BB!
Fall. I love the turn of seasons, and fall is the most drastic. The crispness in the air, the sweatshirts and hot chocolate, the leaves turning, and the smell of the neighbor’s fire in the fireplace.
Kindness. I believe that your time is the most important thing you can give to another person, whether it’s a quick thank you in a fast-food line or a conversation with your neighbor. Acknowledging the time given to you by someone else and being respectful and kind when another is giving you their time, even for a few seconds, is a must.
Independence. But also, not so obviously, I learned what my “intake” process of a new place was. What I saw first, what I sought out, who I turned to.
My first son’s rocking chair. I spent many hours of all times of the day/night there. They were quite possibly the most introspective hours I’ve ever spent in my life, the most tiring, and the most joyful. It’s where I learned to love quiet time.
