Consulting Generalist / Project Manager

At Blue Beyond, we’re looking for an early career professional with 3-5 years’ experience who excels in a team setting, loves to learn for a living, and thrives on managing complex projects and keeping teams connected and aligned. What you'll do

  • Provide overall account management support to consulting Leads including account planning, budget and staff planning in Zoho, client billing activities, and contact management in our CRM.
  • Collaborate with client teams to facilitate the development of the project goals, deliverables, and success markers.
  • Track progress and execution of a project while flagging potential obstacles.
  • Support internal team and client facing meetings through developing agendas, taking detailed notes, synthesizing themes, and communicating and tracking next steps.
  • Conduct research on assigned clients.
  • Design, manage, and conduct data analysis of client discovery and assessment processes including things such as executive interviews, focus groups, and pulse surveys.
  • Interface with Blue Beyond internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Visual Communications) as needed to coordinate project logistics.
  • Create, outline, and manage in-depth project plans, paying attention to deadlines and goals.
  • Work closely with the account lead and client team to keep the “plotline” of a project.
  • Support our team to stay connected, aligned, and on track.

What you'll do

Reporting into the CEO, the Chief of Staff /Assistant to CEO will provide support in a number of business-critical areas as well as offer day-to-day support. Our ideal candidate will be excited by and comfortable with wearing many hats. Core responsibilities include:

  • Proactively anticipate and maintain awareness of critical Blue Beyond activities to assist the CEO in effective decision-making
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support, including (but not limited to) calendar management, expense reconciliation, client billing activities, travel arrangements, contact management in our CRM
  • Interface with clients, potential clients, partners, and colleagues, representing the CEO, building strong and effective working relationships, and exemplifying Blue Beyond’s brand and culture
  • Meet frequently with the CEO to ensure alignment on priorities and provide daily updates to ensure productivity and effectiveness
  • Partner with the CEO and others as directed on the development, delivery, and follow-up of all Blue Beyond team meetings, Leadership Team meetings, Annual Account Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Support effective Leadership Team collaboration and alignment through effective Leadership Team meeting planning and support, strategic project management, and ongoing Leadership Team communication coordination
  • Participate in business development calls with the CEO as requested to capture notes and help coordinate, as needed, the development of proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) for new client work
  • Own and manage the Blue Beyond calendar of events
  • Work with Operations and Finance to ensure CEO Reports / Dashboards are accurate and up-to-date
  • Nurture our company culture and employee experience through office and administrative leadership 
  • Ensure effective internal and executive communications for the organization, e.g., liaise with CEO and Leadership Team to ensure critical context and updates are reflected in our internal newsletter, content / agenda development for company meetings, draft CEO welcome letters for new staff, etc. 
  • Own the agenda for Blue Beyond’s monthly company meetings, and project manage pulling all its pieces together
  • Partner with the Head of Operations and the Blue Beyond HQ office team to ensure the office is a welcoming and effective workspace that exemplifies the Blue Beyond culture
  • Support and maintain an office environment that supports the success of our entire team with special emphasis on our early career talent that is based in the office
  • Partner with the Office Manager to ensure Blue Beyond team meetings, office team meetings, and client events are delivered with excellence and authentic hospitality
  • Work with the Office Manager to support company-related events and team meetings end-to-end from space set-up, AV, food, and other hospitality-oriented support
