Founder and CEO of Blue Beyond Consulting Cheryl Fields Tyler was highlighted in a recent article from the Expert Panel at Forbes Business Council on the importance of focusing on talent retention as a long-term investment in an organization’s skilled workforce.
In the article, Fields Tyler comments on the importance of deep listening. “To retain their best employees, managers have to intentionally practice deep listening. This is not just about the day-to-day work, but really tuning into the emotional and psychological state of their people. Employees are looking for managers to be human. Now is the time for managers to “lean in,” lead with empathy and actively invest in building authentic relationships with each member of their team.”
Fields Tyler founded Blue Beyond Consulting in 2006 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Blue Beyond partners with clients throughout North America, including global Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, universities, and small- and mid-sized firms on employee engagement, communications, change management, talent management, culture change, leadership, and more. It is a certified women-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
