What skills and expertise do you bring to the team?

I bring a breadth of experience to the team with nearly a decade working in corporate communications across a wide variety of industries – healthcare, media and manufacturing. Aside from my direct experience, I’ve been told I am particularly skilled at cultivating relationships, but not at the expense of being able to speak up and lead when needed. I’m proud of my attention to detail, collaborative work style, strong intuition, self-motivation and listening skills.

What do you find most rewarding about your work?

I am most fulfilled at work when I am helping organizations become the best versions of themselves through strategic communications, employee engagement and change management. I’ve found when an organization is healthy on the inside, its goodness naturally shines through to the outside.

What did you learn about yourself when you moved to a new place?

I’ve moved several times in my adult life. Most recently, from Chicago to Connecticut. Moving has taught me that I’m adaptable, positive, and resilient at my core. Making new friends and building a new home isn’t easy and I’m always surprised how comfortable I am with the process. I often say that I could live anywhere and find happiness.

What's your favorite place?

New York City. There’s a certain magic that happens when your train pulls into Grand Central Station and you take your first step onto the platform. NYC’s energy is like nothing else I’ve ever felt in my life. I had the opportunity to work at Time Warner Inc. in NYC for almost three years – and dare to say it was the happiest time in my life.
