What skills and expertise do you bring to the team?

Leadership, problem solving, emotional intelligence, and service orientation.

What do you find most rewarding about your work?

Working with strong teams to achieve goals that have a greater purpose in the world.

What is the most important lesson you've learned in the last year?

I have learned that you can’t take care of others in a sustainable way if you are not taking care of yourself — and doing so requires work, time, reflection, and self-compassion. It took me a LONG time to learn this in my life!

What do you think makes an effective team?

I think that trust is foundational to an effective team and that trust requires credibility, reliability, and vulnerability from every member of the team — especially the leader.

How does good consulting happen?

I think that good consulting happens when we listen for understanding, put ourselves in the shoes of our clients, are humble, and are brave enough to have honest conversations regardless of the outcome.
