Kristal Smart

Kristal is a consultant with over 15 years of combined experience in educational leadership and the nonprofit sector.  Kristal has a wealth of expertise in project management, program strategy, metrics and evaluation, and DEI.

Kristal’s extensive background in nonprofit and education includes designing an organization-wide continual improvement process, leading DEI efforts, and leading a data management transition.  She has also coached educational leaders and instructors in envisioning, designing, and managing their culture environments.

Kristal is a lifelong learner who is known for her ability to execute on a vision.  She also has an incredible attention to detail and is adept at taking each individual’s experiences into consideration when designing programs and strategies.  She has witnessed firsthand the power of philanthropy and how mission work can, and does, shape communities.

Kristal holds a Doctorate in Education from Union University and is a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
