Caitlin Strauss Corda

Caitlin joined Blue Beyond in 2007 and as one of the team “veterans,” she wears a lot of hats — ranging from business development to account leadership.

Caitlin brings a holistic approach to her client work, while drawing on her expertise in employee engagement, organizational communications, culture building, and strategic alignment. She knows how to architect and orchestrate ‘key moments’ that can have lasting impact. Whether it’s a large-scale, visually stunning global all-hands or simply a well-thought through idea that unlocks the next step, she’s always thinking about building capacity for the future of the organizations and teams she supports.

Caitlin is known for her team building and collaboration skills, her effectiveness and efficiency, and her ability to bring an easy-going-yet-focused nature to everything she does.

Caitlin received a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences and Psychology from USC.

What skills and expertise do you bring to the team?

I am passionate about excellent communication in complex situations and keeping stakeholders informed and aligned along the way. Whether it’s a high-profile brand launch, a market-facing event, or creating line-of-sight and engagement around company strategy I keep teams aligned and engaged — and have a fun along the way.

What do you find most rewarding about your work?

I love the clients and teams we work with — honestly, it’s the people. Working in changing industries such as high tech, bio tech and ecommerce, I find myself constantly surrounded by incredibly smart and conscientious teams and individuals.

What is your favorite time of the year? Why?

Summer. Hands down. Growing up in a beach town I’ve always had a “thing” for summers — I love being outside, the heat, and the sense of freedom and traditions that come with the summer months.

How would you describe your coworkers?

Conscientious, talented and caring individuals — who care about themselves, their families, and our network of clients and companies.

How does good consulting happen?

It starts and ends with listening and empathy — you have to have a keen sense for listening closely to the needs of a client and understanding the context of a particular situation.

What's your favorite place?

South Carolina. I live in the Bay Area (which I also call home), but my other ‘home’ is in the great tourist town of Myrtle Beach where I grew up. The weather is hot and beautiful in the summer, sleepy and cool in the winter and is fantastic ‘flip side’ to life in Silicon Valley.
