Caitlin joined Blue Beyond in 2007 and as one of the team “veterans,” she wears a lot of hats. She serves on our leadership team, leads a variety of client engagements, and supports many facets of growth throughout the company.
She is deeply passionate about the people side of business — with expertise in employee engagement, organizational communications, culture building and activation, leadership development, organization development, and strategy development and alignment. She helps leaders pinpoint the levers within their teams that will achieve the right breakthroughs at the right time, and in a way that’s real, practical, and centered around lasting impact.
Caitlin brings a holistic approach to her client work and knows how to architect and orchestrate ‘key moments’ that stick. Whether it’s a large-scale, visually stunning global all-hands meeting meant for thousands or creating alignment between leaders and teams on what the future looks like, she’s always aiming to connect the dots and build the path forward with the clients and organizations she supports.
Caitlin is known for her team building and collaboration skills, her effectiveness and efficiency, and her ability to bring an easy-going-yet-focused nature to everything she does.
Caitlin received a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences and Psychology from the University of Southern California and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two daughters.
I am passionate about building effective teams and organizations where people feel connected to each other and a common purpose. Effective communications, building collective trust, and creating meaningful experiences that ‘stick’ are some of the tools of the trade to allowing teams to thrive. My skills in writing, storytelling, content development, communications, and program and project management are foundational to what I bring to our client engagements — with a dash of humor and (hopefully!) a lot of fun along the way.
I love the clients and teams we work with — honestly, it’s the people. Working in changing industries such as high tech, bio tech and ecommerce, I find myself constantly surrounded by incredibly smart and conscientious teams and individuals.
Summer. Hands down. Growing up in a beach town I’ve always had a “thing” for summers — I love being outside, the heat, and the sense of freedom and traditions that come with the summer months.
Conscientious, talented and caring individuals — who care about themselves, their families, and our network of clients and companies.
It starts and ends with listening and empathy — you have to have a keen sense for listening closely to the needs of a client and understanding the context of a particular situation.
South Carolina. I live in the Bay Area (which I also call home), but my hometown is the great tourist town of Myrtle Beach where I grew up. The weather is hot and beautiful in the summer, sleepy and cool in the winter, and is a fantastic ‘flip side’ to life in Silicon Valley.
