Kassie is a member of our Visual Communications team, with over a decade of experience in graphic design, and almost 5 years of background in designing specifically for the consulting industry.

She started her career by working at a small branding studio that allowed her to work directly with small business owners to build their brand from the ground up. Most recently, at a strategic change consulting company, Kassie partnered with consultants on multi-million dollar projects to develop materials that support strategic change initiatives for Fortune 500 companies. This is when she came to truly understand the impact that strong design and collaborative thinking has on long-term client success.

In 2019, Kassie’s colleagues recognized and voted her as the team member who most consistently displayed the value of “Collaborative Design,” and she has also received gold and silver Addy Awards for logo and website designs.

Kassie is known for being curious, creative, collaborative, and receptive to feedback.

She holds a B.A. in Art and Graphic Design from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.

What skills and expertise do you bring to the team?

I hope to show up in all areas of my life as a servant leader. Approaching conversations with empathy and compassion while using my education and experience in designing and consulting helps create stronger connection and communication between humans.

What do you find most rewarding about your work?

Hearing stories about how a specific event, conversation, or training activity affected someone’s life in a positive way is always my favorite part of a project. It reinforces that the creative and intentional decisions made in partnership with a client can improve the lives of others and help them feel more aligned in their personal and professional life.

What work have you done that you're particularly proud of?

One of the first self-improvement endeavors I ever pursued was a course called, “Foundations of a Servant Leader”. This year-long experience opened the door to many other self-discovery conversations, friendships, and retreats. Throughout the course, we had multiple printouts to read. At the end of the course,I approached the teacher (and now close friend) recommending a workbook for the experience. Having the chance to create a thoughtfully-designed workbook full of valuable material that had such a huge impact on my life is probably one of my favorite projects of all time.

What makes you proud to work at Blue Beyond?

Being aligned from the inside-out on values and culture assures consistency – for the work we do with clients AND in our personal and professional lives.

If you could take the year off, what would you do?

In addition to traveling, I’d love to try a bunch of different hobbies to see which ones I really love but maybe never took the time to dive deep enough into to know if I’dreally enjoy it.
