Mark joins Blue Beyond as part of our growing Business Development team, with over 40 years of experience in consulting, sales, and business development. 

Previously, he worked in the management consulting space for over 20 years, with companies like PwC, Answerthink/Hackett, and even started and managed his own sales consulting practice. 

Mark is known for his knack for developing strong relationships with both his colleagues and with senior executive clients.

He has a Bachelor of Business with an emphasis in Marketing from Western Illinois University and is a member of M3Linked Chicago.

Over 40 years of strategic sales and business development expertise in developing solutions that help clients solve their complex business challenges.

What do you find most rewarding about your work?

Getting to know new clients on a personal and professional basis, and helping them solve strategic business challenges that drive growth and profitability.

What work have you done that you're particularly proud of?

Successfully starting my own consulting practice (and managing it for over 7 years) that helped my clients grow their business with high ethics and integrity.

Working with such a great team that has delivered successful consulting projects to Fortune 500 clients that have helped them improve the performance of their teams and the company.

What is your Blue Beyond?

To continue to maintain a good work-life balance and personal relationships, help others to achieve their goals in life, and make the most of everyday while I’m on this planet!

What characteristic do you most admire in others?

Authenticity and transparency.

What is the most important lesson you've learned in the past year?

Do what you love as life is short, along with patience and perseverance.

Who or what matters most to you?

My wife and our marriage of 36 years.

What do you think makes an effective team?

Working effectively, respectively, and tactfully with everyone on the team to help them leverage their skills and talents.

How does good consulting happen?

Working hard to listen to the client’s needs during the discovery process to understand their personal and corporate goals, and explore other issues that they are facing. Then collaborating with the client on creating a proposed approach and integrating well with their teams during the delivery process to ensure that our team achieves the client’s expected outcomes.
