Emily is a consultant at Blue Beyond with a background in internal communications, executive messaging, culture, and change management.

Her previous work at Murraysmith — from project management to creating content — helped affirm that management consulting is what excites her. Surrounded by incredible, intelligent problem solvers, Emily learned how to approach a situation and come up with creative solutions. Her experience on Murraysmith’s Marketing/Business Development team helped introduce her to the doer/seller culture — and gave her a great understanding of how consulting firms don’t grow without amazing marketing and BD!

Emily is a certified Master Recycler and has developed and managed a Corporate Social Responsibility program. At her previous job, she and her team won three 1st Place Communications Awards for: Recruitment and Retention Communications, External Website, and Corporate Identity (rebranding) from SMPS.

Emily is known for taking initiative and driving change, advocating for what is right, not settling, and her ability to truly understand others’ perspectives. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Marketing, with a minor in Sustainability from Oregon State University.
