Kathryn Grant

Kathryn's main focus is on leadership development and organizational effectiveness.  She has partnered with many business leaders and their organizations to develop talent strategy, build leadership and management capabilities, and improve organizational and employee effectiveness.  Having worked for several multinational companies in the U.S. and Europe, she is passionate about global leadership development, and brings a wealth of international expertise. 

Most recently Kathryn managed the leadership development team at Qualcomm, San Diego, where she delivered succession planning, talent reviews, executive coaching and leadership development solutions. In this role, Kathryn partnered closely with the COO and senior leaders to develop and implement integrated leadership development and talent management models aligned to business strategy.   

Prior to Qualcomm, Kathryn served as a senior consultant with a professional services firm in the US (Sibson Consulting), specializing in transformational leadership development and organizational effectiveness. Her key clients included Pfizer, Bell South, NBA, and Johnson & Johnson. It was during this time in her career that Kathryn discovered her passion for helping organizations solve business challenges and create winning and long-lasting solutions.

In addition to her consulting career, Kathryn has a proven track record as a line manager in various cross-functional roles within global pharmaceuticals, including AstraZeneca and Eli Lilly. Kathryn is a registered pharmacist and holds a B.Pharm from Bath University, England, and a joint Masters in Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management, Sydney, and Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. 

Kathryn is also deeply committed to the non-profit sector. She has taken time out of her successful corporate career to lead development initiatives in Central America, Africa and Asia. Her volunteer work includes coral reef conservation in Belize, managing a building project for orphans in Namibia, and cultural heritage and AIDS prevention assignments with the United Nations Development Programme in Vietnam.  She also developed a non-profit board participation initiative for Qualcomm.

Kathryn is currently living in Somerset, England, with her husband Brian, a USMC helicopter pilot on a two-year exchange program with the British Royal Marines. They are enjoying country living and travelling Europe at every opportunity with their two daughters Charlotte (3) and Abigail (1).
