Laura brings more than 12 years of consulting experience to Blue Beyond Consulting, utilizing her expertise in strategic business planning, marketing and sales strategy, marketing communications, brand management, and development to drive improved bottom line results for executives and managers.


With a professional background that includes a mix of corporate and not-for-profit positions, Laura has managed global marketing teams in the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans. She has directed national and international advertising campaigns for some of the largest companies in the world, including Sprint, FedEx, and Chevron. Laura has spearheaded a variety of major internal communications initiatives and has also led teams in the development and execution of crisis communications. She also spent several years in the field of Customer Service business process improvement, successfully leading initiatives that resulted in increased employee tenure, improved associate effectiveness and ultimately, greater customer satisfaction.

In her roles within not-for-profit organizations, Laura has spearheaded national development campaigns, designed revenue-generating programs and promotions, and has designed and implemented board training. She has served as a board member for several organizations in the Education, Health & Human Services, and Museum fields.
 
Laura loves to travel and finds that it almost always leads to a great adventure - planned or unplanned. She also enjoys cycling, cross-country skiing and expanding her volunteer work and personal life in California, where she has lived since 2005.
