Who was our client?

EVP of HR focused on moving the function from an incremental improvement mindset to a commitment and plan for transformational breakthroughs in order to scale and support a rapidly growing organization

What did we do?

Worked with the EVP of HR and all HR Function Directors to:

  • Assess current state
  • Develop a 3-year vision for the function including specific "game changing" initiatives that will enable transformational breakthroughs
  • Deepen individual understanding of the personal leadership changes necessary to enable functional breakthroughs
  • Create plans to move themselves from incremental management of the function to thought leadership and driving breakthrough results
  • Communicate their vision to their fellow function directors and HR partners in order to gain their input, alignment, and commitment
  • Realign operating model and governance processes to future-state vision
  • Support the selection and onboarding of new HR leaders

What were the results?

Over a 6-month period, we helped the EVP and his functional team to create:

  • A clear and sustained mind-shift toward aiming HR time and resources toward "game-changing" initiatives
  • A 3-year plan focused on breakthrough results
  • Seamless on-boarding of the new HR Function VP and HR Chief of Staff
  • Strengthened effectiveness across the function director team, and clarity of their role across the HR operating model
  • Clarity on the current state talent and its ability to scale
