Who was our client?

EVP of HR and Senior Director of Internal Communications charged with engaging employees and evolving the company's corporate culture to align with the company's growth and strategy

What did we do?

  • Worked with Executive Team to ensure understanding, alignment, and ownership of the evolved culture framework (values and practices) and communication strategy
  • Developed a strategy and plan to utilize storytelling as the means to engage employees and communicate and promote the evolved culture
  • Launched a Culture Storytelling Campaign to engage employees at every level of the organization to bring the evolved culture to life through storytelling
  • The effort included:
    • Facilitating brainstorming sessions with executives and their teams to enable them to identify and share stories about the culture with their peers and teams
    • Promoting and incorporating culture storytelling in staff meetings, all-hands meetings, quarterly conference calls, and quarterly company meetings
    • Producing culture story videos with leaders and employees at all levels and from all global locations telling stories that illustrate the desired culture and behaviors
    • Developing and launching a Culture Website - featuring a spotlight culture story from a new employee each week, an interactive video library of employee stories, tools, and resources to help leaders/employees incorporate the culture into their work, and a feedback channel for employees to submit their stories and give feedback
    • Partnering to build the evolved culture and storytelling components into the company's on-boarding process and training and development courses
    • Developing a long-term strategy moving forward to fully scale employee storytelling to all global sites, driving continued employee engagement, and promoting the company's evolved culture

  • More efficient and effective onboarding and enculturation of new employees
