VP of Communications responsible for transforming Internal Communications to help enable a multi-year business transformation

What did we do?

We provided support on every aspect of Internal Communications, including:

  • Development of vision, strategy, and plan for how to best drive stakeholder and employee engagement
  • Organization design and talent assessment
  • Design and development of communiations governance, strategies, processes, and tools
  • Management and leadership of the Internal Communications staff and contractors
  • Design and facilitation of "Extended Leadership Team" in-person meetings, involving groups of 200-400 people in multiple forums
  • Design and development of new communications strategies, channels, and tools, including Executive communications field forums, Extended Leadership Team communications program, and a wide variety of video, communications tool kits, and web-based content
  • Support on crisis communications strategy
  • Advice and coaching for Executive Leadership Team communications

What were the results?

Over a 3-year period, we helped the VP to:

  • Make significant improvement in employee understanding and commitment to the transformation
  • Demonstrate significant increases in key metrics, including leadership credibility and trust, access and quality of communications, accessibility and responsiveness of leadership, and understanding of company vision and strategy
