CIO of $3.5B Technology Company tasked with transforming the company's IT infrastructure to make it a foundation for scalable growth
What did we do?
- Conducted a comprehensive set of interviews with IT stakeholders and presented a thorough analysis of current state IT strengths, requirements, and opportunities
- Facilitated vision and strategy sessions with the IT leadership team to develop and articulate the IT strategy and 18-month plan
- Partnered with the CIO to build alignment around the strategy and plan with the company's CEO and Executive Staff
- Developed a set of strategy maps to help clearly explain and communicate the strategy and plan to the IT team and the company
- Established a cadence of direct communication between the IT organization and key stakeholders within the company to provide regular updates and progress
What were the results?
- Gained the full support of the company's Executive Team to move forward with the CIO's recommendation to implement new ERP and CRM systems
- Influenced the decision of the Executive Team to establish a Business Process Reengineering Team to take ownership of several major IT recommendations
- Facilitated greater company support and buy-in of the IT strategy and plan
